The Silverton Inn & Suites is a transformational renovation project that was completed in 2007. The combined visions of DeGeorge Construction and G. Victor Madge Architect, Inc. resulted in a landmark building for historic downtown Silverton, one that has been credited with being a new economic engine for the community.

Doug DeGeorge purchased the dated old Nordic Motel in 2006 and selected Silverton-area architect Victor Madge to assist with the design. The combination of DeGeorge's initial concept and Madge's vision for this key downtown location culminated in a development that has quickly "become an anchor in the downtown community," says Chamber Executive Director Stacy Palmer.

As DeGeorge and Madge developed the two-story grand lobby, complete with a massive fireplace and elegant finishes, it generated great interest around the community.
